BAKED FRENCH SWIRL TOAST

1 (16 oz) loaf cinnamon swirl bread, cubed
3/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins
6 eggs, beaten
3 cups half-and-half or milk
2 tsp vanilla extract

Place bread and cranberries in a greased 3-quart shallow baking pan. Mix eggs, milk, and vanilla. Pour over bread. Refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight uncovered. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Serves 8
