TEQUILA STRIP STEAKS

4 (8 to 10 oz) New York strip steaks, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick and trimmed
1/2 cup tequila
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp pepper
1/2 tsp lemon peel, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt

Place ingredients in a resealable bag and chill at least 1 hour or up to 1 day, turning bag occasionally. Drain steaks and grill 4-6 inches from hot coals. Turn steaks to brown evenly; cook 12-14 minutes total time. Transfer to plates and allow to rest a few minutes.
