CHERRY FRENCH VANILLA DESSERT

1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup pecans, chopped fine
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 (9 oz) container whipped topping, divided
3 cups milk
1 can cherry pie filling
Chopped nuts, garnish

Mix together first 3 ingredients and press into a 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 and allow to cool completely. Mix together cream cheese and confectioners

sugar. Add 1/2 container whipped topping. Spread over crust. Beat pudding with milk until thickened. Spread over cream cheese layer.

Then spread cherry pie filling on top. Top with remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle with additional nuts and chill before cutting into serving pieces.
