CHICKEN CHILI VERDE

Category: Chili

1 pkg of boneless skinless chicken breast (approx 10 pieces)
1 (28 oz) can tomatillos, drained and diced
1 (7 oz) can green chili, chopped
1 large onion diced
1 tbsp chili pepper
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
cup cilantro, chopped (leaves only)
1 Corona beer
Salt and pepper to taste

Rinse and dice chicken breasts. Brown in large skillet in olive oil and butter. Remove and set aside chicken and brown onions in skillet. Add tomatillos, charred peppers, seasonings and chicken. Stir in beer and bring to low boil then lower to simmer. Cook for 1 hour. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add chopped cilantro leaves just before serving. Serve with warm tortillas and sour cream
