GLAZED REESES BROWNIES

Brownie Layer
4 oz unsweetened chocolate
6 oz butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt and vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups Reeses bites

Peanut Butter Brownie Layer
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
6 oz butter, room temperature
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt and vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour

Chocolate Glaze
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp butter
15 oz whipping cream

Preheat oven to 375. Spray a 13x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Make brownie layer by melting chocolate and butter in a pan, stirring until smooth. Cool 10 minutes. In a bowl, cream together sugars, eggs, salt and vanilla. Blend in chocolate mixture. Add flour and mix until thoroughly incorporated. Fold in Reeses bits. Spread batter evenly over bottom of pan. Set aside.

Make peanut butter layer by creaming together peanut butter and butter. Mix in sugars, eggs, salt and vanilla. Add flour and mix until thoroughly incorporated. Spread batter evenly over bottom layer. Bake 35-40 minutes or until golden. Cool completely before glazing.

Glaze: Melt chips and butter with one-third cream. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. Add remaining cream and stir until incorporated. Pour on top of the cooled brownies and spread evenly. Cool in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Cut into bars.
