POTATO CASSEROLE SUPREME

8 baking potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup whipping cream
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Boil potatoes in water in a large saucepan until done. Drain potatoes. Mash or beat with a mixer. Add butter, milk, salt and pepper, to taste. Pour into a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Just before serving, whip the cream to whipped sage, fold in the cheese and spread on the top of the mashed potatoes. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
