CRAB FONDUE I

Category: Dips - Hot

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup sherry or white wine
Dash onion salt
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 lb Velveeta, cubed
6 oz imitation crab

Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in flour and blend into a roux. Add broth, sherry and onion salt. Cook; stir until thick. Add cheeses, stirring until blended. Add crab meat; stir. Reduce heat to low; heat through. Transfer to a fondue pot and serve with French bread cubes for dippers.
