GRILLED STEAK PINWHEELS
Category: Beef Steaks
2 flank steaks, about 1 lb each
1/2 lb sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms and green onions
4 tsp dried basil
2 tbsp minced chives
Pound steaks on both sides. Combine remaining ingredients and spread evenly over steaks. Roll meat and secure with skewers or toothpicks. Cut each roll into 1/2 to 3/4 inch slices and secure each slice with a wooden skewer or toothpick.
Grill over hot fire for 4-6 minutes or until meat reaches desired doneness. Remove picks before serving. Serves 6-8
