*CHOCOLATE CHIP MERINGUE BARS*

1 box fudge cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 tbsp water
1 pkg fluffy white frosting mix
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325. Combine first 3 ingredients; mix until blended. Add nuts. Press into ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan.
Prepare frosting with boiling water as directed on package. Spread on unbaked fudge base; keep frosting about 2 inchs from sides of pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Chocolate pieces will not be melted. Cool. Drizzle with glaze.
Glaze
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 tbsp cocoa
1/4 cup milk
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Mix together first 3 ingredients. Add sugar and vanilla and drizzle over cookies. Cut when cookies are cooled.
