TEMPTING T-BONES
Category: Beef Steaks
4 well-trimmed T-bone, Porterhouse or boneless top loin steaks, 1 inch thick
2 medium red or yellow bell peppers
1/2 tsp salt
Brushing Sauce
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup butter
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 clove garlic, minced
Cut bell peppers into quarters; finely chop 1 quarter piece. In a bowl, combine sauce ingredients and chopped pepper, microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes or until hot and bubbly, stirring halfway. Brush onto both sides of steaks and remaining peppers.
Prepare grill for medium coals. Place steaks in center of grid; arrange peppers around steaks. Grill steaks, uncovered, to desired doneness and brushing occasionally with sauce. Do not brush during the last 5 minutes of cooking. Grill peppers 12-15 minutes, turning once. Season steaks with salt. Serve with peppers.
