STEAK AND GRAVY - Easy

4-6 (12 oz) boneless strip steaks or a whole 3-4 lb roast
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 (4.75 oz) can mushrooms pieces, undrained
2 envelopes brown gravy mix
2 cups water

Place steak in a deep baking dish. In a saucepan, mix remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour mixture over steaks, cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

For roast, add 1 cup water and increase cooking time to 4 hours. When roast is done, remove from gravy and cool. Slice roast against graint, return to gravy, heat and serve.
