ONION QUICHE

1 deep dish pie crust
3 large Vidalia onions, thinly sliced
4 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
5 eggs
1/2 cup cream
3/4 lb Swiss cheese, shredded
Pinch nutmeg and dill weed

Bake pie crust at 350 for 15 minutes. Cool while preparing filling.

Saute onions in butter until translucent Whisk eggs in large bowl. Add cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg; whisk until slightly foamy. Add cheese and sauteed onions.

Pour into crust and bake for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and rest 15 minutes. Sprinkle with dill weed.
