BEEF NOODLE DINNER

1/2 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp minced parsley
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
2 1/4 cups water
1 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
2 cups medium noodles
Grated parmesan cheese

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large skillet; cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring frequently. Drain well. Stir in next 5 ingredients. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 10 minutes. Add noodles; cover and cook about 20 minutes or until noodles are done, stirring occasionally. Serve with cheese. Serves 4
