STUFFED GARLIC MUSHROOM CASSEROLE

16 large mushrooms, stems removed
1/2 lb small mushrooms
1 cup finely diced fresh garlic and chopped almonds
1/2 lb butter
1 lb ground beef
2 cyos seasoned bread crumbs
1 cup grated Swiss or mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Chop mushrooms together. Saute garlic, mushrooms and almonds in half the butter until well done. Remove large mushrooms from pan. :ine the bottom of a greased casserole, 8 large mushrooms, open side up, reserving the other 8 for later. Add beef and cook until done. Add 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs; mix thoroughly. Press sautéed mixture firmly over mushrooms. Using the reserved 8 large mushrooms, cover the sauteed mixture, placing open end down. Sprinkle with Swiss or mozzarella cheese, remaining bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Dot with remaining half butter. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Serves 8
