3 tbsp onions, minced
3 clove garlic, minced
3 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 1/2 cups plum tomatoes, chopped
Salt and Italian seasoning, to taste
1 lb asparagus, steamed and chopped
1/2 cup pine nuts, toasted
1/2 cup whipping cream
7 oz pkg tortellini, cooked al dente
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Saute first 3 ingredients in butter; add next 3. Stir in asparagus and nuts; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; mix in cream, stirring constantly until thickened. Spoon over hot pasta; sprinkle with cheese. Serves 4-6
