SMOKED GOUDA SAUSAGE SPINACH PIZZA

1 tube refrigerated pizza crust
1/2 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
1 small red onion, chopped
2 tbsp butter
2 clove garlic, minced
1 cup alfredo sauce
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 (6 oz) pkg fresh baby spinach
1/2 lb Italian sausage links, cooked and sliced
2 cups shredded smoked gouda cheese

Unroll dough into a greased jelly-roll pan. Flatten and build up edges slightly and bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Meanwhile in a skillet, saute mushrooms and onion in butter until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in sauce and thyme. Spread over crust. Top with spinach, sausage and cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until crust and cheese is lightly browned.

NOTE: Like to substitute sausage with cooked, roasted chicken, cut into cubes or any seasoned chicken sausage.
