1 box butter cake mix
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup margarine
1 egg
1 jar unsweetened raspberry jam

Grease an oblong baking dish and dust lightly with flour. Stir cake mix in a large bowl, knocking out all of the lumps. Add pecans, margarine and beaten egg and mix thoroughly by hand. It will stick to beaters and become hard to handle. Dump into baking dish and spread around. Push into corners and smooth out with fingers if necessary. Whip jam with spoon until it spreads easily and cover the cake mixture with it. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes, , until bubbly and slightly brown. Cool and cut into squares.
