SOUTHERN COMFORT MEAT BALLS WITH SOUTHERN COMFORT BBQ SAUCE

Meat Balls:
1 lb ground chuck
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup herb seasoned stuffing
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup Southern Comfort
2 tbsp butter

BBQ Sauce:
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 slices of bacon, finely chopped
1/2 cup Southern Comfort
2 cups ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
Juice of 1 lemon

Meat Balls: Mix stuffing and salt into ground chuck. Combine egg, chili sauce and Southern Comfort. Pour mixture into meat and mix well. Form into small balls. Melt butter in large skillet. Brown meat balls on all sides over medium high heat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Cover with Southern Comfort BBQ Sauce and simmer for 20 minutes.

BBQ Sauce: Lightly brown onion with chopped bacon. Remove from heat, add Southern Comfort and ketchup; stir. Add remaining ingredients and simmer slowly for 10 minutes.
