SNICKERS CHEESECAKE

Crust:
1 1/2 cup chocolate wafer or graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted

Filling:
3 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract

Glaze
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream

4 regular Snickers Bars, coarsely chopped, reserving 1/3 cup for later

Crust, combine wafer crumbs and butter. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-1/2 or 10 inch springform pan. Set aside.

Filling: Combine cream cheese and sugar, beating until smooth. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and heavy cream. Beat at medium speed for 5 minutes. Fold in candy pieces. Pour filling into crust and bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes, or until cheesecake is almost set in center. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack for 1 to 2 hours.

In a saucepan, combine brown sugar and whipping cream; bring to a boil. Stir in reserved chopped candy. Over low heat, boil 1 minute. Set aside and cool. Top cooled cheesecake with some of the glaze, reserving the remainder to drizzle over cheesecake when serving.
