CHAMPAGNE PUNCH II

6 oranges, unpeeled and thinly sliced
1 cup sugar
2 (750 milliliter) bottles dry white wine
3 (750 milliliter) bottles sparkling wine, chilled

Place orange slices in a large nonmetallic container, and sprinkle with sugar. Add white wine; cover and chill at least 8 hours. Stir in sparkling wine. Makes 1 gallon
