HASH BROWN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE III

1/2 lb bacon, sliced
1/2 cup chopped onion and green bell pepper
12 eggs
1 cup milk
1 (16 oz) pkg frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble; set aside. In the drippings, saute chopped vegetables until tender and remove with a slotted spoon.

Beat eggs and milk in a large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients and transfer to a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 35-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 6-8
