ENGLISH MUFFIN OVERNIGHT BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

1 (12 oz) pkg breakfast sausage links, cooked according to package directions
6 English muffins, cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses
1/2 cup chopped onion and red bell pepper
12 eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
1/4 cup chopped cooked and crumbled bacon

Cut cooked sausage into 1/4 inch slices. Place muffin cubes in a 13x9 inch baking pan and drizzle with butter. Layer with next 4 ingredients, order given. In a large bowl, combine next 4 ingredients and pour into casserole. Sprinkle with bacon. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Remove from refrigerator at least 30 minutes before baking. Uncover and bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
