CARAMEL PECAN FUDGE BARS

2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter, melted
35 pecan halves
Topping
1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping or caramel apple dip
1/3 cup chopped pecans
3 tbsp hot fudge ice cream topping
Preheat oven to 350. Bars: Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl. Stir in next 3 ingredients and spread batter in a 13x9 inch baking pan. Arrange pecan halve on top. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Microwave caramel topping until hot and bubbly, about 1-2 minutes. Stir chopped pecans into caramel. Spread evenly over hot bars.
