Vegetable oil spray or melted butter
18 caramel candies, unwrapped
2 tbsp milk
1/4 tsp cinnamon
6 (6 inch) flour tortillas, softened
2 Golden Delicious Apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
3 tbsp sugar
Preheat oven to 375. Cover a baking sheet with foil and spray with or or brush with melted butter. Place caramels and mix in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave, stirring often until caramel is smooth, about 45 seconds. Stir in cinnamon.
Spread caramel mixture on each tortilla with 1/2 inch from edge. Arrange apple slices over 1/2 of each tortilla, fold over other half. Press down with palm of your hand to enclose filling. Space quesadillas evenly on baking sheet, spray with oil or brush with butter, and then sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 10 minutes, then turn and sprinkle with sugar, bake an additional 10 minutes or until browned. Allow to seit for 3 minutes and then cut into wedges. Serve immediately.
