DILL SAUCE for Salmon Patties

Category: Sauces - Miscellaneous

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp dill weed
1/4 tsp salt
Dash pepper and nutmeg
1 1/2 cups milk

Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour and seasonings until smooth. Add milk; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Serve over patties. Serves 6

NOTE: I like to add a little bit of lemon juice to it to give it some tang.
