SPICY WINE POT ROAST (Crock pot)
Category: Roasts/Tenderloin - Beef
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 small onion, chopped
3/4 oz pkg brown gravy mix
1 cup wter
1/4 cup ketchup and dry red wine
2 tsp Dijon-style mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp garlic powder
4 lbs beef pot roast
Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper; place in crock pot. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover; cook on LOW 8-10 hours. Remove meat and allow to rest before slicing. Thicken the drippings with some cornstarch and water mixed together and bring drippings back to a boil and stir. Serve over meat. Serves 6
