SALMON SPINACH CASSEROLE

1 3/4 lbs salmon
1/2 lb spinach leaves, frozen but thawed
1 small onion, chopped
14 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 to 1/2 cup white wine
1/2 to 1 cup heavy cream
Basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper, to taste
14 oz Swiss or parmesan cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 400. Grease a baking dish. Spread thawed spinach in baking dish. Season salmon with salt and pepper and place on top of spinach. Mix remaining ingredients except to get a creamy consistency and our over salmon. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 40-45 minutes. Serve with rice or baguette. Serves 4
