SWISS ASPARAGUS AU GRATIN

1/2 cup water
1 1/2 lbs asparagus, trimmed of tough ends
1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp pepper

Preheat oven to 400. Bring water to a boil in a skillet and add asparagus. Cook for 2 minutes or until tender-crisp and drain. Place into a baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over asparagus. Bake 8-10 minutes or until cheese mixture is lightly browned.
