*BEEF AND SOUR CREAM NOODLE BAKE*

8 oz wide egg noodles, cooked according to pkg directions
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
Pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 cup tomato sauce, small curd cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped onions and shredded cheddar cheese

Brown meat in butter and add seasonings and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onion and noodles; mixing well. In a large greased casserole dish, alternate layers of noodles and meat mixture. Top last layer with cheese. Bake, covered, at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
