SPICY CHEESE CORN MUFFINS

1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup cornmeal
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
1 egg
1 (11 oz) can corn with red and green pepper, drained
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Stir in next 3 ingredients until just moistened. Stir in corn and cheese. Spoon into greased mini-muffin pan or regular sized muffin pan, filling almost full. Bake at 400 for 9-11 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.
