SPICY AVOCADO DIP

2 medium fully ripe avocados, peeled, pitted
1 (16 oz) container sour cream
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
1 tbsp lime juice
1/2 tsp ground red pepper

Mash avocados until smooth. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover. Refrigerate 1 hour or until chilled. Serve with crackers, cut-up vegetables or chips.
