SPINACH NEW ORLEANS

3 pkg chopped, frozen spinach
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2tbsp chopped onion
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 cup dry stuffing mix or croutons
4 tbsp melted butter, divided
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix cooked and drained spinach with cream cheese, onion, half of melted butter and spices. Pour in to lightly greased 2-qt. casserole dish. Cover with stuffing mix or croutons. Pour remaining butter over the stuffing mix. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes.
