BAKED BEEF AND CHEESE RIGATONI - Easy

18 oz rigatoni, cooked al dente
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey jack cheese
1 (15 1/2 oz) jar favorite spaghetti sauce
Grated parmesan cheese
While pasta is cooking, in a skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic for 4 minutes or until meat is lightly browned, stirring frequently. Stir in sauce and pepper. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes.
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, milk, salt and pepper. Add pasta; toss to coat. Spoon half the rigatoni mixture into a 9 inch square baking dish. Top with 1/2 cup cheese and 1 cup sauce. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until heated through. Serves 4
