LAYERED OREO PUDDING BARS

1 (20 oz) bag chocolate cream filled cookies, crushed
1/4 cup butter
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup confectioners sugar
2 (3 oz) boxes French vanilla instant pudding
2 cups milk
1 (16 oz) container whipped topping

In a large bowl, blend butter, cream cheese and confectioners sugar. Stir in crushed cookie crumbs.

In another bowl, combine pudding and milk and beat on low until thickened. Fold in whipped topping.

In a 13x9 inch baking pan, alternating with pudding mixture and ending with cookies mixture on top. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
