1 lb gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
1 2/3 cup roasted red pepper, chopped
2 scallions, minced
2 tbsp sour cream
1 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp hot sauce
Crusty French bread
Optional toppings: scallions, prosciutto, anchovies, roasted red peppers or cooked bacon.

Place ingredients except bread and toppings in a food processor. Puree. Hold in refrigerate to stiffen. Serve spread on slices of bread. Top with desired toppings.
