STUFFED PEACH FRENCH TOAST

3 cups fresh peaches
1 cup whole milk
1 loaf French bread
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
Cinnamon to taste
1 stick butter
8 eggs

Stir butter, brown sugar and corn syrup over low heat on stove until melted together. Pour into a greased dish and spread to cover bottom completely with melted mixture. Cut bread in small pieces and cover the melted mixture with bread. Cut up peaches and layer on top of bread, then top peaches with another layer of bread. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar and cinnamon, pour over top and bake for 1 hour or until golden brown. Serve with whipped cream and warm syrup.
