MACARONI AND CHEESE BAKE

1 pkg macaroni, cooked al dente
1 lb ground beef
4 cups spaghetti sauce
1 (19 oz) can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
2 green bell peppers, chopped
3 tbsp butter
1/3 cup flour
3 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt and dry mustard
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
While pasta is cooking, brown meat and drain. Add next 5 ingredients. Drain pasta, and add to meat mixture. Pour into a greased casserole, pressing into an even layer.
Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour, cook until bubbly. Gradually add milk, stirring until thick. Remove from heat. Add next 4 ingredients and stir until the cheese melts. Pour cheese sauce over macaroni mixture and top with parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 45 minutes.
NOTE: Good frozen and reheated.
