CHEESE BURGER CHOWDER

1 lb ground beef
2 cups potatoes, cubed
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 tbsp green pepper, chopped
1 tbsp instant beef bouillon granules
10 1/2 cups milk
3 tbsp flour
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

In a large saucepan cook ground beef till browned. Drain off fat. Stir in potatoes, celery, onion, green pepper, bouillon granules, 1 1/2 cup water, and 1/2 tsp salt. Cover; cook 15 to 20 minutes or till vegetables are tender. Combine 1/2 cup of the milk and the flour; stir into the meat mixture. Add the remaining milk. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Add cheese; heat and stir just till cheese melts. Remove from heat and serve.
