FETTUCCINE WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE

Sauce:
2 cans clams, reserve liquid and drain
Reserves liquid and enough water to make 2 cups
Chop clams and set aside. In a saucepan, add:
1/4 cup oil
4 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic, minced
Fettuccine, cooked al dente
While pasta is cooking, brown and discard garlic in butter and oil. Add clam liquid to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes to blend flavor. Add clams and 2 tbsp parsley. Cook until clams are heated through and just turn opaque. Drain noodles and serve sauce over pasta.
