ROASTED GARIC AND HERB DIP

8 large garlic cloves
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
1/2 tsp dried thyme
2/3 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp chopped chives
1/8 tsp salt and pepper

Wrap garlic in foil; bake at 500 for 30 minutes. Squeeze the cloves to extract pulp; discard peels.

In a food processor, add garlic, thyme and basil, pulse until minced. Add cream cheese and remaining ingredients and process until smooth, scraping sides of bowl. Spoon the mixture into a serving bowl; cover and chill at least 1 hour before serving. Serve with raw vegetables or bagel chips.
