MEXICANA CASSEROLE

1 lb ground beef
1 (8 oz) can refried beans
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup chopped onion
4 large tortillas
1 cups grated cheddar cheese and Monterey jack cheese
2 tbsp cooking oil
Lettuce and tomato

Brown ground beef; drain thoroughly. Stir in tomato sauce and taco seasoning. While beef simmers, heat refried beans in cooking oil. In a large casserole dish, put 3 tbsp meat mixture and spread on bottom. Spread tortillas, one at a time, with refried beans. Layer tortillas, meat and cheese. Leave a fair amount of cheese for top.
