SWEET AND SPICY SPARERIBS

4 lb pork spareribs
12 oz bottle chili sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice and peanut oil
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce and dry mustard
1 tsp garlic and onion powders

Cut ribs into 3 to 4 rib portions. Place in a large saucepot. Add enough water to cover ribs. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes.

Prepare grill. Place large piece of foil over coals to catch drippings, allow space around sides and poking holes in foil.

While ribs are simmering, make sauce. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well to blend. Drain ribs well and carefully pat dry with paper towels. Place ribs on grill and brush with sauce. Cover and grill, about 15-20 minutes, turning and brushing with sauce occasionally.
