*COOKIES AND CREAM LAYERED DESSERT*

1 large pkg Oreo cookies, crushed
2 pkg instant pudding (chocolate or vanilla)
3 cups milk
1/2 cup butter
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping

Spread half of crushed cookies on bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan. Beat pudding with milk until thick and smooth.

In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and butter. Add sugar, vanilla and whipped topping; mix in pudding. Pour into crust and top with reserved crushed cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
