SOUTHWEST SPAGHETTI PIE

8 oz spaghetti or linguini, cooked al dente
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
8 oz ground pork
1 cup chopped onion and green bell pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin and dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
1(16 oz) can tomato sauce
8 oz shredded Monterey jack or cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 425. While pasta is cooking, whisk together milk and egg. Drain pasta and mix egg mixture in with hot pasta in a greased 13x9 inch baking pan.

Cook pork and next 3 ingredients in a skillet until pork is cooked through, about 6 minutes. Drain. Stir the seasoning into the pork mixture and cook about 3 minutes. Spread over the pasta in the baking dish. Sprinkle with both cheeses evenly over the top. Bake until cheese melts and the casserole begins to bubble. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 6
