SHRIMP AND FETTUCCINE PARMESAN

1/4 cup butter or butter and olive oil combination
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped
1/2 cup chicken broth, heated
1/3 cup dry white wine
1/2 tbsp mustard
8 oz fettuccine, cooked al dente and drained
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 cup small bay shrimp, cooked and peeled
1 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
While pasta is cooking, in a double boiler, melt the butter and add next 4 ingredients, stirring until well blended. Combine and whisk the next 3 ingredients until incorporated.
When pasta is done, pour into a bowl. Heat shrimp in butter, toss in the pasta, adding half the parmesan cheese. Pour the cream mixture over all, again tossing and sprinkling with remaining cheese over top. Serve immediately. Serves 4-6
