MARINADE FOR SPARERIBS

1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
5 clove garlic, minced
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp coarse ground black pepper
1 tbsp fresh sage

Mix first 3 ingredients together. Combine remaining ingredients and add to vegetables. Soak spareribs overnight in marinade. Cook on grill, basting with marinade. Season with salt when they are done.
