HAWAIIAN CHICKEN WITH WILD RICE

1 (16 oz) can sliced pineapple rings, drained and reserve
8 skinless and boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup soy sauce and sherry
2 1/2 cups pineapple juice
1/4 cup wine vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
Marinade: Combine ingredients in a large bowl and add chicken in mixture. Marinade 24 hours.
Grill the breasts until done, basting occasionally with marinade. During the last couple of minutes; grilled pineapple rings and place on top of chicken.
Wild Rice
1 pkg instant long grain and wile rice mix
1 (8 oz) can chopped mushrooms bits and pieces, drained
Prepare rice as directed and stir in mushrooms. Set aside.
Serve over rice.
