FETTUCCOME ALFREDO WITH M USHROOMS

Sauce
3 tbsp light cream or whipping cream, room temperature
4 oz grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
Coarsely ground black pepper
Ground nutmeg

Fettuccine, cooked al dente

Drain cooked pasta and return to the saucepan. Add cream and cheese. Cook mushrooms and garlic in the butter until tender. Add to cooked pasta.

Serves 4
