SEAFOOD AND BASIL ALFREDO – Easy

8 oz linguine, cooked al dente
1 tbsp butter
1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined, and bay scallops (I like the combination but can use 1 lb shrimp or scallops)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 cup milk
1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, cubed
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a skillet. Sprinkle seafood with garlic salt and cook seafood until done. Add milk and heat just to boiling; stir in cream cheese and basil. Reduce heat, stirring constantly until cream cheese is completely melted. Remove from heat; stir in cheese. Toss hot pasta into sauce; serve immediately. Serves 4
