SUMMER PISTACHIO DESSERT

1 yellow cake mix
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 (4 serving size) pkg instant pistachio pudding
2 regular size cans crushed pineapple, drained
1 container whipped topping
Chopped nuts and/or coconut

Bake cake according to pkg directions in a 13x9 inch baking pan. Cool completely.

Make pudding according to pkg directions. Beat in cream cheese and spread over cake.

Spoon drained pineapple over pudding.

Frost with whipped topping and sprinkle with nuts and/or coconut or leave plain. Keep refrigerated and covered.
